The episode was fantastic on so many levels and I will save my overall view for the actual recap. I will say however that my only disappointment was the dues ex machina arrival of the soldiers of the Vale at the EXACT MOMENT that they were needed to turn the tide. I half expected Gandalf to be leading the army down…
