Yes! We went to the bar mitzvah of a kid we love, but our own little joy is a threenager with nut allergies. Rather than make a big deal of it, we packed snacks AND hit McD’s for yogurt and fries on the way to the gorgeous reception, where we went straight to the dancefloor. No one cared, and no one was bothered.
