That Enes Kanter tweet was a heart breaker. It seems like they’re putting even more pressure on his life and family, and all he can do is just keep playing.

His response amounts to “don’t advocate for democracy until you can be sure it won’t cost anyone anything.”

If the relationship between China and the NBA is so tenuous that Morey’s hilariously milquetoast tweet put NBA employees in literal danger of retaliation by the Chinese government, then that relationship probably shouldn’t exist in the first place.
