Thank you so much, Mathilde! It's a lot of fun to do.

Great interview, thanks! So many of the things she touches on are the same ones that drew us to the show (and then to make a podcast about the show). But that bit about Mel and Sue ruining shots to protect the contestants makes me love them so much more. Bravo, hosts! We'll miss you so.

LOL! Noel Noel Noel! Perhaps the morning gin was a bad idea.

She did an hourlong interview with the Oxford Union, and had interesting things to say about why she thinks of herself as a cook and not a chef. She's very pro everyday schmo, which is why she was so perfect for this. I don't know much about Prue Leith in that regard.

I hope you're in charge of the programming.

Well, we're certainly all about it.

"Sheer perfection"

Does he have any other employment? Jonathan Creek is over, I think, so chilling in a chair cracking wise seems like a pretty good way to keep paying the gin bill.

We'll be watching to see what's what with this because we podcast about the show, so our choice is to give it a chance or wake to the dark dawn of reality, crawl back under a duvet and quietly weep. Live-watching will probably take a lot of extra gin, though.
