You misread. MD is saying it is ridiculous to assume that people who are paid an insane amount of money for their projects would suddenly all agree to do a project for free. The actors are going to seek to be paid for their time, some apparently with greater amounts than others.

I wish Rose would stop with the name-calling. However accurate the names may be, it is childish and takes away from her message.

Yeah... that is... not sexy.

Clearly you have not been exposed to @dril. Enjoy.

No I 100% believe you, but I never said it was particular to Lena Dunham or celebrities. In fact, she more fits the mold of the non-celebrities you describe, since she seems to not give one shit about how she comes off, while most celebrities care really really deeply about their public persona and have managers and

I wish she had that much self-awareness.

Because Lena Dunham is an attention whore with no boundaries or apparent need for privacy.

I love this. It reads like Martha Stewart’s blog, which I intend to be the highest of praise, because Martha’s blog is magical.

I hate that song too. I’m glad I’m not the only one.

It’s not that bad, you just do your research ahead of time and learn enough Italian to recognize and ask about ingredients. There’s plenty of standard Italian fare that comes vegan. It’s honestly easier to be vegan in Italy than in, say, Minnesota.

On the contrary, tons of classic Italian food is inadvertently vegan or can be made vegan with just a slight tweak.

You’re probably right but it’s also almost certainly a coincidence in this case considering that one of them was on the lady’s HEAD.

Her parents are

You could be right, but I bet the asterisk will be that Ren thinks of them as nobodies because he looks down on them, when in fact they are characters we know.

I’m with you.

For sure! Ticket prices are not necessarily in lock step with the amount of spectacle they provide (talent aside), and there are always exceptions. But it’s just not as simple as “people stopped buying albums so artists jacked up ticket prices, so here we are.” They can only jack them up to what people are willing to

By my calculations, the JT video has the same percentage of forehead-crinkle time as The Revenant. That is, 100%.

But don’t forget that spectacle and pageantry in live shows has increased as well, which is what provides the audience with the additional value they need to justify spending as much as they do.
