Man, I can’t even imagine the impact a disabled character on an ultra-popular kids TV show, who *stayed* disabled even in her superhero form, would have had on our culture. It’s too bad they scrapped it.

Precisely. It’s like Daredevil. He’s a blind superhero—whose superpower is being able to see. Kinda pointless.

Star Wars Jedi? Meh. Star Wars Jedi Knight? That’s one I’d get excited about.

Sully-neko!

Uh, yeah—that’s so we can do crazy stuff like “fit a giant metal chair inside” and “close the door all the way.” Otherwise our only option is to park outside, climb down, crawl across the no-doubt spotless floor, pull ourselves up onto the commode using only our upper body strength, and hopefully be able to reach far

That’s fine. You use our elevators and curb cuts, after all. Just stay out of our parking spaces and restroom stalls! ;-P

Oh my goodness, I need that as a freaking t-shirt.

Trust me, none of the crips over here conser it offensive.

I mean, I’d love to see a tiny DLC where it’s just Oracle rolling down an alley, taking out thugs with those escrima sticks she’s got hidden in her push handles…

For crying out loud, I live in small town Ohio in the 21st century and there are no black people around. It’s not unrealistic to not have any in rural medieval Bohemia.

Saw them in concert a year or two back. It was epic.

You have my sympathy, but I’m not talking about your daughter. I’m talking about the bias of able-bodied people seeing our lives as worthless and disposable when they’re anything but.

Typical able-bodied bias. Unable to see how anybody different than them could possibly live a good life.

“if your body can’t keep you alive due to a terminal non curable or treatable disease, then you should not be alive.”
