@GeeHalen: Oh yes how can we forget the saint...

There is one of these along the back fence of the Volvo dealership here in Honolulu and its not covered....It doesn't have much rust and I am afraid it will if it stays there, its been there for a while and I can't figure out what they are doing because it doesn't look like its for sale, just shoved in the back....

@jon_daniels: Well just keep in mind they all point it where they want it to go, every cm of these cars is considered. I worked on electrical systems and components in F1 cars for 20 years, I am not an aerodynamicist but I of course worked with all the engineers to complete a working car and understand the principals.

That is not a lotus....

@jon_daniels: You must realize that its not just about aero efficiency for the sake of moving something through the air, or they would be bullet shaped. F1 cars need down force, aero efficiency and they need to divert air to areas the car needs it as well. Many factors including those are combined to make a set up

People who want a cheap truck to move stuff around when they need it will be happy. Toyota and Nissan used to make a bare bones, fairly cheap little truck, now we have Tacomas that are the size of what a T100 used to be. In Japan they still have cheap little trucks for small businesses in many varieties, in the USA,

@Rust-MyEnemy: Yes these systems are very different and should be called more than a kinetic energy recovery system because a Prius can do that as well with regenerative braking. Maybe Kinetic Energy Recovery Boost System... KERBS, hmm no we already have kerbs all over the track so...I don't know

Ah they were vague before about this, "hybrid" and it is as I suspected, a KERS of sorts, not a prius type of system that makes no sense.

@maximum_sarge: I love it on Top Gear when they try to set up the suspension and other things on them haha. I like my Factory 5 Daytona or my Caterham... gear change, pedals, wheel and a few other minor things, all you need! I don't even have radios...can't hear them...

@Jude Butler: The HMMWVs are too wide for a lot of places I think, this doesn't look any better, I guess in the current operations they just need a heavy desert going machine, no jungles or forests in the American future as far as I can see. I read that they claim they will start replacing them as they are taken out

@dmckoltrane: Yes they are, I forget the name but they are made and used as an armoured troop truck.

@leicester: Perfect, just get the booth girls from the last eastern block weapons expo...

I get that the windows are harder to hit but the rear windows are ridiculous, how is the guy in back going to see the sights? And at least have a gun hole like in an armoured car so he can shoot some rounds out the side if he needed to. They aren't going to win many, "hearts and minds" with this haha.

Yes 60 is much better then 40, I saw people bend about 40 when they part from their boss at the stain platform at the end of the day, so 40 was a bit pathetic for a recall apology...

@layabout: It could be worse, she could have won Mr. Toyoda and then subjected to whatever his Audi driving ass would have done with her....those Japanese businessmen get freaky...

At least the Tesla burglar alarm didn't trip....

@Alfisted: Damn sticky floor mats are responsible I reckon!

Well its a lot better looking than the Lincoln MKT, I saw one at the mall today..oh dear baby jesus its a horrible looking car in person....
