The Japanese do it better...

I prefer a Caterham but it will do, I hate the fenders some people put on them like that, I prefer the close round originals. But you can't get much more bang for your buck than a 7....

@SerialThriller: good god man carbon weave is always good, I thought that was a given!

I read some of the posts and I just think its better to leave the Yanks alone and let them do whatever it is they are doing, its like arguing over religion, one says its good the other says its bollocks, its been programmed into them since birth so where do you go from there?

@zacarious: That is a good point, I think the "thinking" of F1 is not enjoyable for most Americans. I was an F1 engineer for 20 years, but I am Swedish, however I have met Americans in F1 of course and they have sighted many reasons for the lack of popularity in the states. I think a real F1 fan needs to have an

Well in the stock photo I thought it was a bit ugly, but a good livery can bring out the best in a car sometimes. Why car companies have that ugly goldish orange I will never know, I see very expensive cars in that colour and its is hideous in my opinion. For a new hypercar wouldn't you want a flattering colour or at

@skaycøg: a couple more years of mold...

@skaycøg: He looks like a North Korean dictator now....

He looks moldy and gross....

@Maxichamp: The teammates are grouping up a bit regionally. Its funny how Merc said, we don't want an all German team....um....Schumi, Nico (although hes not actually German, grew up there) and now Heidfeld is reserve.... Sounds uberific to me....

@ClassicKentucky: Ha that was funny, I quite liked their automotive art gallery...I always find it funny how artists are interesting and the art scholars are a bunch of toss pots. Remember when the three of them had to take their cars before the modern art guys and say why they thought their car was art worthy, those

@KeyserSöze - Professional Blog Commenter: Yeah but there are applications, all wheels are different and the driver can get custom set up. I worked mostly with electronic systems and had to deal with these things a lot when they were not behaving...

I am interested in the performance of the Sauber and Kobayashi, I think he may be getting a good break with a decent car, Valencia is not the end all in where the teams stand but Sauber is no slouch this season. Of course watch out for Alonso, the Ferrari seems to be good and he seems to be feeling good in it...

One man I would miss in the paddock if I was still working is Dr. Mario, this is my son with him at a dinner, great guy...

@Møbius: Actually Alonso is one of the nicest guys, when I worked in F1 I would run into people all the time and he was always one of the most down to earth fellows to chat with. Button is so down to earth you wouldn't guess he was a driver, Hamilton is also nice but not as ego-less. I worked around Kimi a lot too, he

Much better, the hummer is getting old, this looks more euro..

Nope I have never wanted a Porsche...mid engine is better and frankly they all look the same, boring Germans...

@Novaload: Probably the British, they love dark funeral humor...
