Vetts for me are like mustangs, I haven't liked them for several decades. The new one is nice I suppose but its way down my list of cars I would buy for myself. I built an FFR Daytona instead, good decision I think...

@Jstas has gas!: Well English is my third language, haha, but I think some people are answering for weekend racing and others are thinking of prefessional racing, but I agree across the board in many levels Ford seems to be at all of them...
@KeyserSöze - Professional Blog Commenter: Well the 289 is even ok because they are so light, 350 is a good median to the 427.I just wanted a top on my car and to have something more unique, there are a few cobras around but I've never seen another Daytona of any kind. Its not really difficult, if you can go they have…
@TR3-A: Oh yes, round the clock fluid dynamics testing. BMW and some other companies have super computers running them...
@BigEngineSmallCar: um, I think I saw a Ferrari california there that was yellow, but mostly red for sure..
@InvisibleEcho: We are really just geeks that help people go fast haha..But I really do enjoy it so I was happy, a bit stressful too though. I started with airplanes/jets at Saab actually so I slowed down...

@Jstas has gas!: Yes its true Ford has its hands in a lot, even with Cosworth you are into F1, but I am trying to see what they want from this question. After a few I ran out of cars I wanted to add to my vote....
Yes I was there too, that was not a good day....
@KeyserSöze - Professional Blog Commenter: Well I am not a good example of how long it takes to build because I was an F1 engineer haha, so about 4 months. Yes the motor is good! I chose the 427, straight out headers and side pipes I designed and built myself, anything less is just wrong. There are a few modifications…
@TR3-A: Yes very true, and for each race the amount of air allocated to the engine ducts depends on the track and location of the race. Malaysia, super hot, lots of air ect...
@Quattro-luvr: Quite a lot, yes, and the wings are made of the same stuff fighter jets winglets are made of so they are quite strong carbon composites, some are a honeycomb inside, each team has different techniques.
@TR3-A: Well I can tell you as a person who has worked in F1 for a couple decades that all the wings are of course specific to the characteristics of each car. So what may work with one car may not with another. Of course now there are far less winglets due to returning to mechanical grip, slicks. And obviously each…
