Some people get upset over optional functionality. I will never understand it.

Looks like I'll have to start hanging around here more on Tuesdays 3-4.

My dad kicked my butt at several Mario Kart games. I practically don't WANT to play with him anymore.

Even if donators didn't get a free copy of the game, I would likely have donated money for this. I would, in fact, pay extra to have a game in a genre I love made by a team I love.

I believe the PS3 version's release is planned to coincide with Version 2.0, which if my memory serves is targetted for the end of this year.

During the Fear Itself event, Juggernaut became empowered by another being (a magic hammer turned him into the herald for the Serpent, an ancient/forgotten Asgardian and the bad guy of the event), and in order to stand up against him Colossus petitioned Cyttorak for power. Cyttorak agreed because it was jealous of

She does have a telekinetic knife, but also uses regular ol' swords too.

I agree with the sentiment, I am rather tired of zombie games.

I tend to hold the opposite view. Whenever possible I seem to pick what I call the "funny little guys." This includes Toad, or in Smash Bros I like to use Kirby and Ness, in Final Fantasy XI I was a Tarutaru, in Crystal Chronicles I was a Lilty, in XIV (I know, I know) I am a Lalafell. I think part of why I do this is

Yeah, I noticed that too lately. I wonder what's the deal.

"Final Fantasy IX was probably the most Final Fantasy any Final Fantasy game has been." While IX is my favourite and I would almost agree with you, in my opinion I'd say that honour actually goes to XI. Despite (or maybe because of) being an online game with a persistent world and steady updates, it can read as a huge

Well, I've been saying that IX's my favourite for a while now and I hadn't realized it was also Sakaguchi's. I just like the lightheartedness of it, the art direction, the characters... Everything really. Plus it feels more like one of the classic Final Fantasies than VII and VIII did while still having its own flair.

My brother and I tend to divide the cast of a fighting game in half between the two of us, and it's just sort of understood that we cycle through all our characters during out play sessions rather than conctantly picking the same couple.

I'm in the same boat (though I don't quite have a 3DS just yet, I suspect I'll be getting one for Christmas). I play portables far more than I play consoles, so I can't limit myself to just one.

"Hell hath no fury like a flaming skeleton on a motorcycle."

Birth by Sleep for the PSP was pretty good, if you like Kingdom Hearts games. Tactics Ogre: Let Us Cling Together, also PSP. Dissidia 012 for, you guessed it, PSP.

Typically a game with RPG-like character progression, but more action-oriented battles rather than turn-based or anything like that. Kingdom Hearts, for instance.

Oh my God I vaguely remember that game. Nostalgia waves incoming.

Agreed. Grown men and women are complaining about something aimed at young girls. Silly, really.

Glad to see Sir Daniel Fortesque on there. Medievil was good fun. He would be my main.
