I like the song but HATE this article.
We do this every time (at least, the last few times): Swift releases single, people say “ugh it’s the wooooooorst”, it proceeds to rocket through the charts as if it were actually an Ok piece with fans that like it. Not high art, but good pop- with strong production. And so it goes.
I...... fucking love this song. Whatever, shit on Taylor for blah blah blah...but I like it! It’s catchy fun. Probably put it in my gym playlist for a month or so.
Watching the response has been SO interesting to me tbh, because where I interpreted it as very tongue-in-cheek, and goofy on purpose, there are a lot of people on twitter wringing their hands over the State of Music Today. Like, guys, Taylor is a smart lady and has very smart people working with her. She’s fucking…
I’m here for this.
I... genuinely really like it. It’s catchy af, interesting, and I guarantee half the people whining about it tonight will be dancing to it three weeks from now when it’s fully saturated the pop radio circuit.
Gawd, I can’t stand Katy Perry. I am glad she voted, but she annoys the fuck out of me. Pretty much everything she does...Ugh.
I would guess she is largely rich, apolitical and strategic. And let’s be honest, no one wants her to use her voice if she was a Trump supporter; if that is so she did us all a great favor, and in that regard Perry’s sentiment disingenuous.

That’s not the same as saying you deserve it — again, no one does. But…
It’s not that it’s offensive to even consider. It’s that responding to a story about a person being the victim of violence by saying, “Here’s what the victim did wrong” is victim blaming, full stop.
Weird how much leeway this entire family seems to get on this site.
thank you - indeed, I’m sorry that happened to her, but we’re not talking about department store expensive here, we’re talking about 4.5 million. Enough to attract real pros, who had zero time for violence or personal harm, they simply wanted what they knew was there, and what usually doesn’t see daylight without…
There is a difference between saying she deserves what she got (she, nor does anyone, DESERVE to be treated that way) and that she and her team could have done more to prevent the incident in the first place.
LOL. Kim Kardashian’s “job.”
Taylor Swift and Tom Hiddleston are pausing their international “Hey, we’re dating!” tour to celebrate the Fourth of…
