Um, that’s now really how salvage titles work...
That’s not how those things work. If salvaged the title should always say it unless someone pulls some DMV tomfoolery.
You don’t have much experience with the quality of most dealer’s service, do you?
If you’re looking for a fun car in Denver like this I’d go for this MR2 https://denver.craigslist.org/cto/5497400568… for half the money or if you’re looking for something from that comparison go for this ‘93 Eclipse GSX that’s $600 cheaper but needs a bit of wrenching https://denver.craigslist.org/cto/5481098990… or…
Back when these were new, every other Tiffany, Brittany, Allison, and Jennifer who belonged to a sorority seemed to drive them, at least in Southern California.
Meh. Might as well just get a nice SC400.
I'd take this if someone gave it to me. Fork over some cash? Probably not. I'd rather spend that kind of dough on problems I made myself, not made by someone else. I'm not knocking the install, but there's too many what-ifs in this equation for me. CP.
You have got to be the most sensitive Australian ever.
Did you mean “your”?
I think I have to agree with you. it’s in really nice shape but since it’s the base model, it’s just too much money
Gotcha. Australia, the world’s Mississippi.
Yep, I'm a huge 3rd gen fan but this price is what a clean post-refresh (90-91) 2.0Si or Si would go for. The pre-refresh S was kind of a dog. Cool car, but this price is too high.
I’m seriously shocked how many people are voting NP on this. Old Honda fans may just be the most ridiculous with their yearning for the past. These are the same people that spend $100 on an old NES simply because they bought the first one they found while convulsing in a fit of nostalgia without realizing that a…
Crack-friggin-pipe. I’ve owned two 3rd Generation Preludes, both 88 Si models and I was a moderator on PreludePower.com many years ago, and you’d have to be on some serious blow to buy a carbureted Honda Prelude when you can get a 88-89 B20a5 fuel injected model or a 90-91 B21 model.
Agree. It’s a fine car, but not a NP.
4k USD isn’t exactly an easy NP for a ‘88 Prelude. It’s just too much man, too much...
Having owned both Prelude S and SI’s, and given less than 3k for any of them I may be biased.
Y’all are nuts. 80s Hondas were great, sure, but this is a regular old Prelude. I’m glad to see it survived, but I’m not spending four grand on a base model Honda that’s a year older than I. Nor is it collectible, if that’s your deal.
Would be NP at 2500, IMO.
