The fact that men look too long at us when we dane to go out in public doesn't negate the fact that it creates an uncomfortable and sometimes even scary environment for us. The culture of 'it's gonna happen' where we don't appropriately shame the people who do it is part of the problem, and is usually said by people

As I thought, stupid.

Well now, that is stupid. Dude, if you have a flying camera pointed at women's asses, you are in fact a harasser. You should really check yourself for defending these men's actions.

I'm not really sure what you're insinuating with these comments. With the first you seem to imply that this woman is lying, but then in the third you make excuses for "dirty old men" who definitely do this sort of thing - so you seem to be aware that it happens. And then the second one -the guy in question here

Are you being deliberately provocative, or are you just stupid?

Yes. What's hard to understand?

Agency, dude. It's a thing. Look it up.

That is some seriously horrifying shit. I am glad this woman confronted the creep. We can't acquiesce to this.

What part of deciding not to get unnecessary plastic surgery is "objectively unhealthy," again?

don't worry as his post reads like some third rate one tree hill fan fiction I'm sure this never happened :p.

Yeah, that all sounds like it really happened.

Here's a hint: more people don't give a shit if you're short than if you're fat. Plenty of women are perfectly fine with men who are their height or shorter if only because it makes oral sex a hell of a lot less painful in the neck. The only people that really care about short guys are short guys and tall women who

Because that's a reductionist, evo-psych nonsense premise. Eugenics hasn't been cool for like a century now.

You have totally missed the point. She's not calling Louis out for not being attracted to her. She's calling him out because, like all guys, he sees women as status symbols. That actually has nothing to do with attraction.

I hate how he's getting all of this credit for ~starting this conversation~ all of a sudden (the internet is LOOOVING this) but women have been trying to say EXACTLY what this episode is trying to say for. YEARS. No one cares until a straight white dude decides to talk about something.

and those are the SAME guys who say "why can't women ask MEN out?" because we haaave, brother. we're called FAT CHICKS and we go out on limbs and get rejected by the likes of you ALLATIME. you meant to say, "why can't a stripper ask me out for once? i keep asking out strippers and they keep saying no, no fair."

Very few things scream "first world problems" like getting on the internet and whining about other first world problems.

Cue short men whining about how hard life is for them. Won't someone please think of the men?!

Yes and no. Just as women are defined by their looks — men often deal with having the looks of their partner as a definition of their own success.

What is that distant sound, you ask?
