The changes in 2.0 certainly improve things but fundamentally, most of the game remains unchanged from launch. If you played the game on PC at launch, it was still a very entertaining experience.

May they fully assimilate the lessons of 2077 as they work on this sequel.

There were some $50 titles from the beginning, but $60 has been the standard price since well before the 360, and it was in fact significantly more common to exceed that price before that. A whole bunch of late snes and genesis games were well over 60.  Final Fantasy III cost me 85 bucks.  Chronotrigger was that much as well.  Some N64 games were well over 60.  And we havent even adjusted for inflation yet.

No they haven’t? $60 was a typical price for a SNES game, and $70 SNES games were not uncommon. That’s $130-$140 in today’s dollars. Even if you’re counting DLC expansion passes or w/e, those editions tend to go for ~$100, which is still comparatively less.

Well, at least that is in the Kickstarter terms. They even explicitly remind you that you are not buying a product in the checkout screen when backing.

If they’re going to remaster a 7th gen Fallout, remaster New Vegas you cowards. I will buy this game a 5th time. Yes, Obsidian made the game, but y’all have the same boss.
