I actually enjoyed the list here, and I can definitely get behind your criteria for ranking them. My personal top 5 are:

The Vita is not the best handheld. It’s the best console homebrew device, period.

So say we all

Well done recalling the first quantum rule :)  One down, two more rules to go!

This is like watching 28 Days Later and waiting for Sandra Bullock to show up.

I found that I liked FF13 more the second time I played through it, when I wasn’t focused on what it wasn’t. The story/concepts certainly make more sense once you’ve seen it, anyways. Sure, it’s no Bioware or Naughty Dog game, but maybe I’ve seen too much anime to be bothered by the characters.

I don’t know man, about the only things I can think that VP and FF13-3 had in common was that Lightning was essentially a Valkyrie and saving souls, but they don’t join you in battle - no noble einherjar coming to anyone’s side :(

I feel like I need to know what someone thought of The Last Jedi first before I can put any stock into what they think of Rise of Skywalker.

Based on the towns they showed in the trailer, it looks to be set in the same world, though I suppose it could be a different dimension or time.

To each their own. I personally love music in games (my workout mix is almost entirely video game music), but my wife plays almost exclusively with no sound at all.

There’s something about the simplicity of those old handhelds that is like crack to a kid’s brain. I recently played through Kingdom Hearts 3 and found myself feeling nostalgic for these hold Tiger games when playing the “Classic Kingdom” mini games. My kids were watching me play them, and were blown away that I used

I’ve been giving Undertale a shot finally, and I’ve been pleasantly surprised by the deadpan, random humor.

Just let me get a chip in my arm already.

Plus the Moon/EDI mission is where you get your class change/upgrade!

Cavill and the others shouldn’t look like video-game Geralt, et al. because this show isn’t based off of the video games, nor is CDPR remotely involved.

Well, at least it means I can actually use and level Aerith in my party for the whole game, since... you know.

Here’s to hoping the series isn’t dead!

As someone who currently lives in Denver, but lived in SLC (I went to the U of U), the access to the mountains in SLC is sooo much better than it is here. You can technically live in “Denver” (like Aurora or Parker), and still be over an hour from the real foothills... and that’s with lucky traffic. I miss the 10-20

I sometimes wonder if there’s something wrong with me as to how much video game and anime music I like listening to, though that’s partially due to how much less understanding friends I’ve had than the one mentioned in your story here! When I was in college, I would listen to Advent Children and Final Fantasy music to

Honestly, I got bored with this one, and not because it’s Mario and not “serious”. I love me some XCOM and many, many SRPGs, but I honestly enjoyed Pokemon Conquest more than this one. It’s just one easy battle after the next. Every shot is either 0%, 50%, or 100%. Walking and wandering in the spaces between battles
