My grandparents were Armenian refugees who fled into Syria, where my father was born. Later, when he was about 15, they immigrated to the US. I’m grateful for that, as I may not even be here had this great country not accepted my grandparents, their family, and later on, my mother (Armenian immigrant from Lebanon)

Yes, growing up there was never an “official” stance on caffeine. We always drank caffeinated sodas in my house.

Negative on iced teas and cold brew coffee. The hot drink thing follows from the alcohol and tobacco bans. The general idea of the word of wisdom is pushed as a method to avoid becoming a slave to any particular item/need/whatever you want to call it. Basically anti addiction.

While not in Utah county (thank the FSM) I actually moved into his district two years ago. I am so looking forward to casting a ballot against this clown. Maybe one day we can fix the lines they drew last time.

No, actually they’re not. Even as suppliers offload manufacturing from in house to the industry, they are mostly (all flight critical components) staying stateside for the same reasons. QC is hard and expensive when you go overseas.
