I don’t think anyone is saying you’re “supposed” to care more. They are just acknowledging that’s upsetting. Like when kids die or are hurt onscreen. It’s not callousness towards adults, it’s recognition of how we want to protect the helpless. It’s OK for it to be upsetting, people have emotions.

They’re putting everyone they interact with in danger and, especially when it’s a rich person like Wright, they have access to top-tier medical treatment that many others won’t be able to receive.
