She has a screen presence, that’s not nothing. She’s not a great actress but she was good in light comedy or goofy action movies. I think she has a kind of “reminds you of a friend” energy that’s likable.

The other plot with Tony joining the country club and fucking with his neighbors in the end is pretty great though.

I don’t think it’s the worst episode but I’ll admit it’s pretty clunky, and I can see why if you’re looking for the worst episode it stands out as an easy mark.

There were a few other scenes and characters that were a direct response to Italian Americans criticizing The Sopranos, which was pretty big in the media at the time. Like if Melfi is hanging out with her friends and family it’s likely there will be a forced conversation about it.

Sopranos has a lot of misfires, especially when hip hop is involved. But it’s still so great I can’t help but feel affection for the weak storylines too.

You’re missing out if you stopped watching here. It’s an anomaly.

It’s the “no questions asked” part though, which I will always take to mean “if you are the one who stole it I will still pay to get (whatever you took) back.” I mean, that can’t possibly a binding thing, but it is how it reads.

Yeah I get that, but I could see the courts not wanting to deal with million dollar lawsuits for emotional distress over accidentally hitting someone’s dog with a car etc.

Not to defend him one bit but I don’t think it’s uncommon for a creator who isn’t also a showrunner to get sidelined. I mean, someone like Roiland probably doesn’t have a network of his own writers to fill a room with and if there’s any disagreement the executives as well as the writers Harmon hired are going to side

Honestly I’d probably rather see a take on what ChatGPT could lead to than yet another cautionary tale about autonomous thinking robots. I’ll keep an open mind on this movie but anything AI related is kind of a turnoff for me any more. I’ve just seen too many half-baked, wanna-be profound AI stories from writers and

Weirdly the comments section was a lot more progressive about 6 or 7 years ago. You see crude jokes now that never would have flown in 2017.

This seems like a Daily Mail reporter asking a question designed to get a 90 year old in trouble.

This reminds me of when people were attacking Rita Moreno for not being more outspoken about Ansel Elgort’s accusations when promoting West Side Story. She’s 90! Let people 1/3 her age handle that! Not to mention she’s worked in Hollywood and theater for 70 years and probably had to put up with more harassment and

The guy who wrote and performed “Vehicle” went on to form Survivor and create “Eye Of The Tiger.” So if Bill Conti did rip off Ides of March I’d say Stallone made up for it.

Yeah that’s the thing that gets me. I don’t really mind the idea of commercials that much most of the time, I mean 90% of the time if I have the TV on it’s for background noise or to half-watch while I work or clean the apartment or whatever and it’s only when I’m watching a show with someone else that I get annoyed

I’m going to go ahead and mail FreeVee $2.99 a month anyway just to be sure.

There are probably a lot of people who sign up for these trials and forget to cancel for a while. For example, me.

FWIW Amazon’s subscribe and save doesn’t seem to require Prime and you can still get free shipping for orders over a certain amount (though slower). I’m going to shut down Prime next time it renews and make myself adjust.

Sure, Jann.

A game could emulate life and have a party where everyone seems to be hooking up but none of them have any interest in you.
