Barsanti probably knows better than to read what we’re saying about him down here.

It’s odd because this seems to be a world that may never had have Christianity at all or if it did it disappeared 1500+ years ago considering they’re worshipping an ancient Roman religion instead. Or maybe Jesus in this world was Mithraic?

I’m just going to consider this performance an audition.

He didn’t write or create this, just EP and some directing so you can’t lay it all on him. The Last Duel was more than competent too. Obviously it’s a safe bet than an 84 year old is on the decline but I’m not blaming any problems with this show on his age.

I don’t remember that but I can totally see it happening and it has to be a mistake, possibly the actress improvised and nobody thought twice to catch it. We obviously don’t know the history on their religion but absent any other explanation you have to think the Mithraism of the Roman Empire thrived instead of

There’s also a huge hole in the plot because how did Tyler pay for those explosives? That’s right, with capitalism.

One problem with using A-F grades to review is I’m so conditioned by the American educational system, I see a B- and I think that’s a failure. Which, if you’re trying to get into a decent college or grad school, it pretty much is.

The Simpsons episode about the comet was better.

I always thought he died in Paris in 1971.

I predict they’ll sell just enough that it’s still a weird novelty when you see one in real life every couple of months.

I didn’t want to say it but I kind of agree. She’s been in some very acclaimed and popular projects, I wonder if any lack of attention has more to do with her still being an emerging actor in ensemble shows than being written off for doing nudity. Or maybe she’s just reacting to the worst of the internet and the

They’re rebooting everything now. Will Malcolm McDowell play the evil old school proctor this time?

Sure but courts exist to figure out what that accountability is and even the blatantly guilty (which someone is, but I’m not totally sure it’s Baldwin) have a right to defend themselves.

I don’t think you understand. A Marvel or Star Wars role is the greatest honor an actor can be bequeathed now. Any other performance is just an audition for a chance at playing Rom Spaceknight or voicing Baby Greedo.

Eyes of Tammy Faye was a just-okay movie but he was so great as Jim Bakker.

A lifetime of watching Law and Order has taught me wrongdoers always break down on the stand and tell the whole truth.

Pretty mild allegation but you’ll still have to pony up $10,000.

Rocky Horror was invaluable in a pre-internet time as a place for the handful of weirdo outcasts in every suburban high school to find each other. Watched sober, alone and in a world where Tumblr exists it’s really not all that great a movie though I still think the soundtrack is fantastic.

It’s funny that I’m completely unimpressed by lifelike 3D computer animation that represents a tremendous amount of work and talent not to mention incredibly fast-moving technological advancements, but show me a good stop motion film with little puppets moving around and I’m in awe.
