We can expect “The 90s” will be a nebulous concept where everything post Nevermind and pre New Year’s Eve 2000 will happen at once.

It really is absurd to call that “cutting in line.” They’re not getting preferential treatment and they’re not privy to some elite system the author couldn’t take part in as well. If their lunch hour so tight that every minute counts and they haven’t figured out how to pre-order themselves (or are too obstinate to do…
I know why these sequels with the original kids as parents often have the high school girlfriend and boyfriend marry (I mean, they pretty much have to if it’s going to work) but in real life that’s kind of a depressing prospect. I mean this isn’t the early 1900s, get out of your stupid small town and date some new…
He’s been very funny. He’s a great comic actor. He also has the Robin Williams/Jim Carrey syndrome where he never seems to turn down a chance to be mopey and dour to prove he’s more than just a funnyman or something.
Yeah, that’s not Bill Clinton. I obviously don’t know what Clinton is like when he’s not in public but I can’t imagine a guy whose superpower is his charm is so dour and humorless in private.
The real metalheads at my high school hated them.. Metallica was the domain of the asshole football jocks and may as well have been nu metal. It wasn’t until later that I found they were actually really good in the 80s.
Has a box set reissue with live sets and other rabbit-hole tangents only diehard fans would be interested in ever changed a naysayer’s mind? I think most Metallica haters would call something like that “exhausting” not “exhaustive.”
They look good for 60 year old guys.
I find your comment kind of funny but also kind of sad.
We probably won’t see The Punisher again for a while.
But how do they sound as slowed down acoustic dirges?
The only Pierce Brosnan James Bond movie I’ve seen is Goldeneye. The graphics aren’t very good but it’s probably the most fun I ever had playing a movie especially when there’s 4 of us and the remote mines mode is on.
It’s actually used pretty cleverly. There’s a point mid-way through where James Bond is off duty for the weekend relaxing at the country cottage and decides to visit with his Society for Creative Anachronism friends as they prepare for an upcoming renaissance faire. James sews a new tunic and breeches based on…
I’d be for taxing soda and junk food but only if we had socialized medicine and that went directly to support it.
I think it’s like how a car is worth more for parts than it is whole... SNL episodes are now quickly broken down to ad supported Youtube clips too which may be where a lot of the current value lies, especially if they come up with something evergreen like David Pumpkins.
I didn’t even realize it was a new episode. But then I also realize I don’t have a means of watching live TV anymore either.
Definitely Spongebob and other animation, especially stuff like Steven Universe, Adventure Time or Ducktales that’s ostensibly for “tweens” but have viewers in their 20s and up. Probably stuff like Family Guy too if the parents aren’t tightly controlling what the 10 year old watches. Most 10 years old want to watch…
How much better would this be if they used a badder Mama Jama?
I really think best thing they could have done is ended the series at some natural stopping point at the end of season 4 or 5 or something and called the whole thing “part one.” Then they’d still have some goodwill and interest in the prequels and in x amount of years they could come back refreshed with new…
It flopped in the box office (I mean it came out during peak Delta surge and simultaneously on HBO Max, of course it did) but it was still really well received by plenty of people. I think this show with lower financial stakes and expectations could actually do pretty well.
