Filion also voiced Hal Jordan in some animated DC movies…

Absolutely livid that it’s sounding more and more like fucking Starfield is going to be the game to give me what I wanted out of No Mans Sky.

the No Man’s Sky comparisons are starting to feel extremely apt

These types of games would be really well served by incorporating some of the tool tech that Spore was built on — the creature creator, building creator, etc. If you’ve ever browsed Spore’s library of ‘things,’ you know how massive that selection can be and how addicting it is to ‘make’ things with its tools — its got

I was watching Fubar on Netflix with Arnold and one of these figured into the plot. Figured they had just made something up for the show. Guess not.

The US also uses Pu-238 because it won’t flat out kill you if you happen to be in the same room with it. PU is an alpha source, and while it’s toxic as a substance, alpha radiation isn’t all that dangerous unless you ingest it or breath it in. There have even been (ill-considered) experiments (some without telling the

Watch their video. Instead of planetary gears they did exactly what you first suggested. What look like dotted lines above each wheel are actually roller bearings. The bike essentially uses these to ‘sit’ on the wheels while the axles are free to translate vertically. Very clever and probably easier to make that

Wankel Rotor wheels. Nice.

Interesting. I haven’t seen Ant Man 3 yet but I thought Black Panther 2 looked terrible. Really dark and boring, which was a shame after the bright colours of the first one. So if that was the one with all the resource spent on it.... yikes.

This. Speaking as, for better or worse, a lifetime fan of Doctor Who: if crap SFX were a barrier to telling a compelling story, it would be a smaller and sadder universe.  Worry less about pixel alignment and worry more about characters, motivations and dialogue.

Agreed wholeheartedly. Not everything needs to be at the utmost bleeding edge of technology to suspend disbelief for a couple of hours. Besides, it’ll all look comically dated eventually anyway, and if it’s good, people will still like it when it does.

Most of the movie seemed like it was just a CW show set with more money for the bluescreen VFX, so this would explain everything.

I know this may come off as crazy talk, but hear me out.

The movie looked fine. Even the screen grab above that’s constantly been shit on since the trailer came out didn’t look near as bad in the theaters for all the shit it got on the internet the last couple of months. People just need to stop being jaded assholes all the time and enjoy things

Exactly, I built a PC with 32 gigs of RAM in 2020 and another in 2021 with the knowledge that PC games were headed that way anyways. The reason PS5 and Series X can run these game with smaller amounts of RAM is because it’s soldered to the PCB and as close as possible to the CPU which makes it extremely efficient.

I mean, it’s RAM. Don’t people just go and add as much as the computer will allow? It’s the easiest part of the whole buying process. Just get a shit ton and forget about it for the next decade.

This is the part where you post before and after shots.

He said the wrong old song got popular again?  What was supposed to get popular and didn’t when Kate Bush started Running Up the Hill again after 30 years?

If The Cramps had mass appeal and were “tiktok material” they wouldn’t be The Cramps.
