Sen. Booker and Ms. Dawson, huh?

My heart breaks for her but this is like anti-vaxxers for me. I have no use for people who reject science because of “reasons.”

I wish that my three children didn’t require surgical intervention to enter the world. The havoc those C sections have wreaked on my back and abs can’t be overstated.

This is one of those shows that I knew to avoid based purely on which of my facebook friends obsess over it. Mostly the types who also share those “Always Remember: I Called Him Baby First” articles, referring to their 6-year-old son’s future bride or some shit. Those are my Hard Pass Alert friends, bless them.

they can just go fuck themselves. the show isn’t even that funny. also i perused the article (will not read thoroughly cuz again, fuck them) and the most reasonable quote is from Alia Shawkat who is only quoted twice in the whole damn circle jerk of a “conversation”:

And also, I found the father/uncle to be the most boring/annoying characters on the show. It would be better without Tambor. (And BTW, I’ve hated him since the first time I saw him. Once again, gut instincts FTW!)

Jeffrey Tambor is 73 FUCKING YEARS OLD! How much more damn time does he need in order to learn/grow into a person who behaves in a respectful and professional manner?

Dammit Jason, I thought you were one of the good ones

I’m taking a dsst test on psychology of aging and adulthood and one the flashcards said that when men remarry, they typically “abandon” the kids from the first marriage and focus on the new kids more. Whereas women prioritize the kids from the first marriage more if they still have custody.

oh, well then, enjoy your upcoming coma.

The only way to stop a bad Crock-Pot with a gun is a good Crock-Pot with a gun.

Spoilers: Jack didn’t die from the fire, he got out safely, but then he was shot to death. The camera pans out to show his killer: another Crock-Pot holding a shotgun.

I saw JT in concert in September. He performed in a thrown together show organized by Dave Matthews in Charlottesville after the KKK rally (which was a very nice thing to do, since tickets were only $17 so the performances were really donations). He was incredibly underwhelming at that show too, which was months ago

And, honestly, fuck JT for getting to make cute winky jokes about the wardrobe malfunction.

I think initially the honoring the troops stuff was in good faith, sort of a “we fucked up during Vietnam when we spit on guys who had no choice but to go fight” realization. But over the years it has morphed into full on hero worship. The idea that every former member of the military is a hero simply by virtue of

We never did get our one testicle.

The half time show was almost as bad and awkward as the “honoring” of the vets at the coin toss. I never understood why the NFL feels they are the purveyors of patriotism, if not an actual wing of the military.

No, I’m still getting used to the heartburn all this winning is giving me.

Are we feeling safe and secure yet?
