And remember, you can’t move them back. Pokemon home is a one way trip. Which means if your pokemon don’t appear in Galar, you have to keep them in home....which will delete them if your sub lapses.

Okay, but if it would take weeks to develop a semi-automatic process like you said -- this is the second Switch game?   Shouldn’t they have been able to do that between Let’s Go and this one?  Especially considering how much money they make on these games?    

They’ve explicitly said that Sword & Shield will not be able to import Pokémon from Home that are not in the Galar Pokédex. Presumably, as far as these games know, those Pokémon will simply not exist. Meaning that Pokémon Home exists so you can import your Pokémon from Bank and... look at them in a box or something. 

I will be the first to admit that i am not a 3d artist or programmer, but ive worked with developers and programmers enough that “5 minutes” guy is an idiot and nothing is ever that simple.
