“said Gerber, whose fund holds about 35,000 shares. “I am all for being a jerk, but he’s costing me a lot of money.”

If this is a regular fight, I wonder if you’re understanding her point of view. Are you doing an equal share of the weight managing the house, or is she being forced to sacrifice her hobbies to maintain her quality of life while you follow your passion? Is she feeling like you’ve replaced her with your side hustle?

The US also has unemployment insurance. People can be let go with no notice, though.

The potential for false positives causing accidents is worrying. No one is bringing it up in policy discussions.

Having to buy a new battery is a bigger deal than most recalls on ICE cars. It’s the financial equivalent of having to replace an engine or transmission, last I checked.

That’s baffling. And enraging and disappointing!  But why did he think that was a good idea?  How on earth?

You’re spot on about the massive difference in regions.

Yes. The blackface 4 decades ago is one thing. Lots of people do stupid stuff. His mishandling and backtracking are what’s making me question his fitness for office.

The traditional left supports tax systems where the wealthiest pay in more to support the society and infrastructure that let them succeed, and providing a basic safety net so that when people are struggling they don’t wind up starving in the streets. Fighting against the tariffs is entirely in line with that - the

Currently we seem to be working on both approaches.

Crooked Trump doesn’t have quite the right catchy ring to it. I prefer Turncoat Trump. Got to have the repetition at the beginning of both words for it to really stick in the mind.

Did you forget the /sarcasm tag?

That’s a great find. Thanks for the link!

Wow. There is not enough facepalm in the world. What was he thinking?

Same with boxed cereals. I can have oatmeal with tasty mixins for a lot longer and less $ than boxed cereal.
