I can prove where I was!
I can prove where I was!
That would be worth watching.
Technically, yes. But because of sterility, rather than keeling over.
But if you’re strong, you will be renewed!
That’s very particular of the virus. If you were born prematurely/later than term, do you get less/more time, or is the virus looking at the calendar and tapping its foot?
I am chastened. But in my the words “Dickens” and “nerds” were used, and I had no one to rap gently across the knuckles with my folded fan.
Given that the spirits of the ages were (supposedly) very different, I don’t think it is a pointless nitpick.
She did go to great lengths; just not in a good way.
Though it was a hard slog finishing the book (it could have used some of the editing that the program will have to do) I’m excited to see this. It looks so right, and the right people are involved — it’s not going to be another gowns and decor fest.
Compared to action movies made around the same time (e.g. Die Hard), versus the horror movies (e.g. Friday the 13th, Part Whatever), ED II is closer to the action genre, though it has horror decor. To me, it has more that kind of pacing, characters, and general drift of the story.
Yes and no. The pacing of ED II is much more like an action than a horror movie, and though there is a lot of gore, how many people were ever genuinely scared by it? It’s like a live action Warner Brothers cartoon. Ash is the indestructible action hero throughout. A large chunk of the movie is practically a one-man…
What?! No tribute to the film that set this particular ball rolling — Evil Dead II? It was sold as a horror film at the time, but come on. Any film where the leading man smashes plates on his own head is a comedy.
Well, there’s this, which is more than adequate for me.
One person I thought would fail, but did not, was Dan “Downton Abbey” Stevens. He was good in Walk Among the Tombstones, and impressive in The Guest. I don’t know if franchises will be built around him, but no question that he can do action.
It would be a case of God, and his silly mysterious wisdom.
In theory, anything could be intelligent design, in the sense of “and God saw every thing that he had made: and behold, it was very good.” Designed by God? Must be intelligent!
I think so too. It’s the only time it’s ever “registered” with me, probably because I liked the character.
You may mean “fazes”, not “phases”, as in “nothing fazes gigglesticks except for the deliberate misuse of words like ‘literally’; you don’t want to be the subject of her sparkling quips.”
Such a great film. But since I don’t really care SPOILERS what happens to Ray, and Ken is already gone, it’s perfect for me.
From the beginning, he was the jaunty, devil-may-care adventurer. Occasionally, he was forced to care.
