Just a design constraint.  Space-X is building reusable structures with high G loading.  It’s possible.

Nah, just smarter than you.

Saw them live at the New Daisy in Memphis in the 1990's. Awesome musicians.

I am no longer in the military, but here’s a declassified discussion on the theoretical concerns in UAV design:

Again, citation. I know these types of vehicles are being looked at right now. Current winged missile designs sometimes are loaded as high as 40G, and they are definitely flying. So building a drone that can do 15-20G maneuvers should be a thing that is eminently doable.

They want to be in the European Union more than almost anything. That’s really the only thing keeping them nominally in our orbit anyway at this point.

You’re still talking about an airframe designed for a human meatbag.

Citations please.

I sense a certain emotional overtone to these concerns.

Yeah, I totally ignore VW when they unveil concepts.

All that stuff is fine, but for the real deal, Drysol is what you want.

That’s really the problem. On congested roads and controlled access highways, the nature of the driving leads to drivers wanting to disengage from the task. I actually still like to directly control my vehicle even in those situations, which is why I prefer a manual transmission. But giving people who already WANT

No offense Erin, but as a lifelong jazz fan, that sucked.

No one I know who owns a Tesla really likes driving. If you start with a population who looks at driving as a chore anyway, enabling them to take focus off that task with an autopilot that’s pretty good, almost certainly will result in a bad outcome.

Can I just say parenthetically here that I can’t take another shot of Hannity with that slicked back 1990's hair? Somebody needs to forcibly hold that bitch down and shave his head bald, so we can see what interesting logo he has tattooed underneath of it.

Yeah. People think that brain surgery and rocket science are the ‘ne plus ultra’ of deep thinkers. But in reality, it’s very common for people in those disciplines to be extraordinarily one-dimensional. There are of course Renaissance individuals who really ARE all that in those fields. It’s just not particularly

I think half of what the Mueller investigation has been piecing together, is where there are legal cases in state/municipal law so Trump’s position as POTUS (and thus chief of the Executive branch of the federal government) can’t be used to shield his eventual prosecution.

S’what I’m sayin.... right?

I always liked these engines. It was nice to see GM try to build a new style engine, especially after they got beat up so bad by the wonderful Honda CVCC.
