Tove Ditlevsen’s memoir trilogy is incandescent. I am so eager for more of her work to become translated. She is so unapologetic for the course of her life, and a view of WWII not seen through one of the major countries eyes is astounding as well as the glimpse into the everyday life of living through turbulent times.
