If you think a game is worth playing, it has value to you. If you didn’t think a game was worth playing, you wouldn’t play it. Saying that you wouldn’t pay for a game and then playing it is lying to yourself.

Alternatively, you could just not buy the games while respecting the intellectual property rights of games generally. A game not being worth the price is common. They linked your unlocks to your Bungie account. You can delete your imported character and remake them and will still have all the benefits of being a Destiny 1 player. I did that this morning and I still got my Feat of Strength emblems.

I agree, but the game’s best-in-class and they’ve added good new content and fixes to the base game since release, so am pretty willing to forgive them and buy during Summer/Winter sales.
