It is (mostly) coherent English so that should be this first clue.

Well he was busy...

Maggie Gyllenhall (sp.?) talked about how she was told that she was too old (at 37) to play opposite a 55 year old.

I think that fact that over half of your list includes films were made before Kirsten was 20 (and all but 2 of them before she turned 25) reinforces bluelark’s point! Dunst is a great actress and has had a great career, but she’s not getting as many offers as she used to.

Yes! I believe she won the best actress prize at Cannes but she was never nominated for the Oscar (I was furious). She also lost the Golden Globe and Emmy for Fargo, and she absolutely gave the best performance out of that year’s nominees (male and female).

Maybe Colin Farrell smelled really bad and that is why she was crying.

Because he was surprised there was cheese. It’s not a weird leap.

I did the same thing! “Surely he must know what ricotta cheese is,” I thought. “This can’t be the reason.” I’m so delighted to see that it was. Hilarious.

Because this whole thread made me curious, I went and looked up the brunch menu at the Ritz in Toronto - they do in fact have ricotta pancakes (they call them “hotcakes”) on the menu. They come with some cherry sauce, and they sound delicious. Ricotta is listed right there in the title, and Jaden Smith is, and

My neighbor gave me a box of lemon ricotta cookies for Christmas. And some weed! I live in the greatest neighborhood in the world!

You’d think after the second one, poor stupid Scott would have figured out where babies come from.

Sounds delicious. I assume he ordered ricotta pancakes not knowing that ricotta is cheese.

Lemony ricotta pancakes are amazing. With lemon curd. Lemony good!

Because you have terrific taste in breakfast foods.

I actually ordered pancakes with ricotta cheese yesterday ON PURPOSE and they were incredibly delicious.

Who says he lied about where it came from. He knew it to come from a factory. I don’t think many people are 100% educated in Ukrainian art as it is... let alone art from 1930-1950, let alone porcelain figurines. C’mon.

The artist had their right, and then he bought it which makes it his. It’s HIS right to transform it into anything he wants. In this case a large balloon, which is different from the porcelain figurine it once was.

He is a product of the 80s art scene - so that makes sense.

She is so good in it. ScarJo too.

I’d just like to add that it’s a damn shame that Thora Birch’s career, for various reasons, hit an iceberg. She’s so good in this and should have gone on to even better things.
