Exactly. I have male friends from childhood or college. Most of them no longer live in my city, but we absolutely get together when they are in town, and we don't need my husband to chaperone. We also have couple friends where the dad stays at home with the kids (what I'm doing at the moment) and we absolutely have

Really? I’m currently staying at home with my toddler. We have friends where the dad stays at home & we hang out with our kids. Also, am I no longer allowed to see my male friends from childhood or college unless I'm being chaperoned by my husband? Absurd.

Love the big hair! She's a cutie!

My dream is for my husband to have his own house like a block away from mine. . .

They probably aren’t, but Ms. Idusuyi is doing a great job contrasting herself - even with this small bit of politeness on her part - from these people & the whole spectacle of Trump.

You asked this question already & I’ll guarantee you everyone’s answer here is going to be a genuine “yes”. Being enraged with someone for quietly reading a book definitely falls under crazy conservative traits.

It wouldn’t get the same attention, because it would never cross most liberals mind to get enraged with someone for quietly reading a book. That seems pretty squarely an unhinged conservative thing.

Are you really so daft? First of all, I’m not sure conservatives infiltrating a Sandrrs or Clinton rally actually know how to read books, but if they did, it would never cross my mind to be angry. What a weird response.

Why not? It seems like such an innocuous thing to get stirred up about.

I love to bake (know interest in decorating child birthday cakes though), but baking with a toddler pretty much ensures I will have a filthy kitchen that I'm too lazy to clean & will probably lay on the couch shoveling heaps of whatever I've made into my mouth while attempting to stifle my tears because I'm so damn

I’m currently staying at home. I quit my job a few weeks before my son was due & he is 18 months old now. I’m planning on either opening my own business or possibly taking a new job (big dilemma, both will require lots & lots of hours) sometime in 2016. I’ve got such mixed feelings. Part of me will be heartbroken, but

I'm so exhausted that I feel like I’ve run a marathon at the end of each day. (And I’ve actually run marathons before, so I'm not just exaggerating. I think I'm just too old for a toddler).

Different things work for different people, fancy that! The point many people are making is that the zoo, for them, doesn't mean they are trying to be obnoxious Pinterest mommies, but it's convenient way to get their kids out of the house.

You aren’t mommying wrong but you are maybe implying others are? I’m currently (but not much longer) staying at home with a tornado of a toddler. It’s exhausting as fuck & I suck at entertaining him. So sometimes I look for inexpensive alternatives to my house & the park. And I hate (and can’t afford) all the lame

Exactly. I'm currently staying at home with my 18 month old crazy toddler, although will hopefully be working full time again sometime next year. Between the park & my itty bitty house, I need some damn alternatives & the zoo hardly seems fancy. . .

Holy moly that's creepy!

If what you are taking away from most of these comments is that “killing your child is okay” then you are not a very complex thinker. Someone with more intelligence & empathy may however realize that while what this woman did was horrible, that there may have been circumstances & mechanisms at play that at least help

I’m not trying to body (or looks) shame, but she sort of looks more like a cartoon character than a human lately. The surgery/thinness/make-up adds up to a really odd effect.

I don’t know, I’d guess the Bushes are probably less conservative than many would think. Hillary Clinton & Obama both once claimed they were against gay marriage & have both done a 180 (although I don’t buy it at all that the Prez was ever against) because the landscape has changed politically. Bush Sr. has taken more

Very well said. One more Houston nugget, because I’m annoying- it’s not just more diverse than Austin, which is just pretty damn white, it’s the most ethnically diverse city in the U.S. (in case I made it seem like it was just the most diverse in Texas). Also, we gave you Beyoncé, so there's that too.
