Yeah, that's my point and I think Tulse's point. Nothing is wrong with how Adele approaches music. I do think that she is producing music that is sincere to the person she is. However, I'm not going to catch myself in the hype train for this album like I did with BEYONCE because I only listen to like three songs on

Quite a few artist are open and honest about their experiences in their music but they aren't labeled as authentic. I think Adele is a great emotive singer but I don't think she is as forthcoming as people claim. I mean none of her music goes into any detail of her relationship most of it is just general

Just to be clear I don't agree with the sentiment that commercial music can't be authentic. I am stating that a lot of the praise Adele gets is for not being Lady Gaga/Rihanna/etc not being what some people feel are contrived artist even though the way Adele approaches music is VERY similar to all the other female pop

I somewhat agree with Tulse. Ever Since 21, Adele has been sort of classified as this anti-Katy Perry, Gaga, Rihanna artist who makes "real" music and I remember her getting quite a bit of praise for being "substance over style" but if you take a step back I think you sort of realize that is more marketing than truth.

The funny thing is the people who defend him almost always sound like high school-aged students who think expletives are word enhancers.

Please explain this exactly. How and what do you know more about Queenie then Zoe? I mean, to me, they are all terribly written BUT at least Zoe and Madison are their own characters whilst Queenie seems to be nothing but a means to forward Lalaurie's story line.
