Turns out flat wages for a decade means consumers can’t buy the products they used to buy anymore. And the solution of longer loans or subprime lending has a limit, that they are apparently starting to hit. Is the trickle-down scheduled to start soon? It’s been about 30+ years, so it’s overdue.

Yeah, I’m just gonna point out that the biker was %100 at fault here. Everybody involved screwed up, and like you said, we hope he’s OK after this...but it’s pretty plain to see that the biker was driving way too fast for what he was doing.
Isn’t the guy in the car that filmed all this at fault, too? He left his lane and went onto the shoulder. Shoulders aren’t there for people to move onto to be nice to people on motorcycles. This created a space that the lane changer wouldn’t have expected to appear, through which the motorcyclist passed through at…
Having lived in California, I have seen both good and bad examples of lane splitting. This was an extremely bad one, and the motorcyclist was substantially at fault here.
If they put the camera on the front instead of on the rear quarter panels it’s not going to help.
That’s my first thought.
Exactly. And why change anything if California and Europe’s regulations aren’t going away?
I wonder if car manufactures will actually do anything differently though.
