RF frequencies hate water, been this way forever.

Put a glass of water in front of a PS4 controller. Does the same thing. It’s these weak wireless signals they are using.

So far all you are doing is assuming with no real proof. You assume in the overly crowed market of third party video game makers that Nintendo is a given for pushing far more games then they do now, while ignoring the fact that they currently make profit three ways, hardware, software and accessories, which has led to

Oh, fuck no. Say what you will about their home console efforts, but I’m not ready to give up on physical buttons for gaming on the go. The gaming industry would be worst off without Nintendo hardware.

Or, instead of jumping to that extreme, just make some good, obvious, widely used design choices...some they already use and ignored for this.

I get the whole doom and gloom of it all. But I say give it a year(or two) before we can fully say what the switch can’t and can’t do.

There’s probably gonna be a “New! Switch Plus™” with more power and features to it later on anyways, haha.

Holy shit dude, that’s a lot of big words. You don’t need to use big words to make yourself sound smarter. You just look like a pretentious asshole. I understood all of the words but you could have said what you said in about half the amount of words.

Man, you even throw “straw man” around in video game threads.

Lies! There’s always room for improvement!

There’s no way a species can be smart enough to master interstellar FTL travel without also being able to tell that Final Fantasy 6 is the better game.

Back in the Dreamcast days there were two kinds of piracy group. The first would release games on the internet freely for kudos, to show off their reverse engineering skills or because they wanted to contribute to a larger ‘scene’. These users were mostly based in Europe and North America

Assembler games is a great forum however some people on there have a tendency to behave like arseholes.

He thinks he’s cool to do such a thing.

I will go with the option: “If I release the original it will become worthless, maybe if I keep it just for me, in some point someone will pay me good money for it.”

Buy up old PC/dev kits. Then dig through the data that may still exist on the harddrive.

So what is the point of altering it? Just so he can own the only unedited version and keep the prices up? I can’t imagine the value of the actual cart would go down just because someone can play an unedited ROM.

“The integrity of the ROM is good,” TheRealPhoenix said. “There are real alterations but [they are] harmless.”

And yet this launch lineup is superior to the PS4's, and they’ve already got a better list of games lined up in the launch window than the PS4 did.

Honestly, I think this is by far one of the best lineups they had in a few generations. The Wii U’s biggest heavy hitter was New Super Mario Bros U a game that had no hype and quite a few found lackluster. It took the Wii U more than 6 months to release anything worthwhile. The 3DS was a similar story.
