The shifting perspectives thing was jarring at first, but it really makes Automata feel interesting and diverse in its gameplay. It’s like playing 4 games in one demo. The whole thing is nuts in such a good way. I legitimately can’t wait to buy this game for myself and friends.

did we play the same demo? 2B and ilk are just about as minimalist as you can get before you go into non-distinct design territory. the covering of both eyes on all androids has significance, it’s not purely aesthetic choice. even the way their weapons float behind their backs has a logic behind it.
