I've played both, but I enjoy female Shepard more. Mostly because I enjoy female protagonists, and I'm neither a girl nor a feminist.

I don't quite get the hipster phenomena, we don't really seem to have much of that here in Sweden. What makes it such an annoying trend? And what's up with the glasses/irony?

I made it my point to NEVER use a gun. That made the game painstakingly hard but I managed eventually.

This is disgraceful, what has the video game industry turned into? No longer can you even play your game, because you offended the big corporate giant that sits on top of it? Must you beg to spend your money?

Touché

Swede here. The teachers in my school offered my parents to put me on some "special" stuff, since I was causing up trouble and had "ADD tendencies". My parents refused outright, being insulted by the teachers presumptions. Dad said they just wanted to do that to get more money to the school.

He definitely did the right thing, it's the teachers job to make parents aware of things that effect their children's performance in school.

When is Mechwarrior 4 coming out? :(

Elitist PC-owners?

Or they might just be taking the piss out of them for fun.

A few home-made projects, plenty of artistic stuff to fit in a portfoilio, and a degree could very well see you into the industry. I can't say anything about the level of talent you have, that's something you will have to evaluate yourself if it's any good, and more importantly if it can grow. But I want you to

Yeah unless he has a way of showing that he is super talented, it will be hard for him to get a job. Even with a degree!

So, did anyone else see the article picture and went: "Homeworld 3?!"

As with all creative subjects, a degree means nothing without talent, experience, and a way to show it.

The trick is to combine both. If you can make a cool and popular flash game while studying for a good game design degree, you have much better chances.

I will admit that I haven't heard much about Rift at all. What makes it into a unique MMO in its own right(or what doesn't)? I would be interested of hearing from someone who has tried it out so far.

Multiplayer in Dark Messiah was just a mess though. It didn't feel very balanced, priests were completely rediculous, and mages could do some crazy shit while warriors were left trying to chase the two down.

So, how about us Europeans that probably have no particular feelings over seeing a decayed America?
