No. Saga is the greatest missed opportunity in comics because of garbage like this. It started with likable characters and an interesting story line, but they quickly realized that trying their hardest to be edgy got them featured on the internet a lot. The character are no longer likable, the story has basically come

And this title continues to be amazingly indicidive of why this website and it’s “journalism” standard continues to fail again and again and again and again in ways newer and more horrifyingly stupid than the last.

I thought Saga was incredible until they introduced that transparently wanky writer character and then it was just kind of downhill from there. Eventually I stopped being able to tolerate the two main characters and quit.

Lukewarm take: Saga is not that great, and, yes, I own and have read them all.

Here in lies the problem, in Ghost in a Shell, the lead character is Japanese in the anime, so she should be portrayed as such. But Edward and Alphonse were most definitely not even slightly portrayed as Japanese, even if it was made in Japan. Just like Goku isn't of Asian decent, but obviously Chi Chi and Gohan would

So... which is the best for you?

Previously, we reported that the film’s cast (unlike live-action Ghost in the Shell’s) is all-Japanese.

Totally one of the best anime of all time.
