And I would classify any crime as a hate crime because one isn’t usually polite and sincere when committing a crime. Whether the crime was based on race or religious reasons is an entirely different issue.

That’s the thing though, there are neighborhoods that require brighter colors. My mom’s subdivision only allows pastel colors, but they allow all pastels. I’m sure are ones that allow even brighter ones. There’s not one set HOA rulebook.
