When I first signed up for Netflix close to 10 years ago, they had movies that you would find on USA Up All Night and not the good kind.

I’m honestly not that upset with this, because it seems like every week Netflix is putting up a fresh new series, special or some movie they picked up, and so much of it is such great quality. Even the cartoons they pick up are pretty great, seriously, go watch Turbo FAST or the Home Cartoon, both are animated by

I don’t understand how people don’t see the result of this kind of backlash it sends a clear message to creators “DONT WRITE LGBT CHARACTERS, THE FAN BASE WILL ATTACK YOUR SHOW IF YOU DONT FOLLOW THEIR RULES”. Pretty sure thats like the opposite of what they actually want. #killcreativity

Agreed, this is a dangerous trend. My friend is gay and she took it personally. I tried to console her, and explain there were story reasons for it, but I don’t think she’s watching anymore.

I think the show lost one of it’s best characters, but I think showrunners should be allowed to..run their shows.

So basically, the media is now trying to moderate the storylines of actual creators with hackneyed rules and regulations about the “diversity” of what characters are allowed what plot arcs.

yes. They couldn’t keep her on the show, and Clarke would have never left Lexa, Lexa would have never left Clarke. Really, what else were they were meant to do? I’m totally okay with the death - I liked Lexa, but this year has been stalling ever since Clarke walked into that tower. Something had to happen to kick it
