People are too fixated on the use of the word “traumatic,” I think it could be traumatizing to be publicly humiliated and rejected on such a large stage. The Batgirl cancellation will be mentioned in their obituaries, as that’s likely to be an all-time famous unreleased film along the lines of The Day the Clown Cried.

The thing is, Nintendo has been letting unlicensed tournaments run for 20+ years. Yes, everybody in the Melee community knows that they shouldn’t be running unlicensed tourneys. But the status quo for 2 decades is that Nintendo stays in its lane, and the Melee community stays in theirs—there’s a very uneasy upspoken

Is this rodent alone in thinking Training Day is over-hyped and over-acted?

i loved him in Justified... “childlike menace” perfectly sums up his role, which he played to perfection. more menacing than his brother, but somehow not as dangerous. he was so easily controlled by his mother, but prone to thoughtless action. you never knew what was going to happen when Raylan was around.

One of my favorite scenes in all of Justified is when Mags smashes Coover’s hand with a hammer, and he is just crying begging for “mama’s” forgiveness.  He was terrific

Uh, yeah... The Equalizer (2014) is very good, and its 2018 sequel is also pretty good (but not as good as the first movie). The Jake Gyllenhaal movie Southpaw (2015) is also very enjoyable, and the soundtrack is great too. I’m also a big fan of Shooter (2007) with Mark Wahlberg and I was somewhat impressed by Tears

He was one of the best character actors around.

Well, this review is a real slap in the face.

Maybe the enemy will do an uninterruptible swing in the midst of Jacob’s attack, and maybe it won’t. The aim here, clearly, has been to create visually cinematic combat

If you haven’t read L. Ron Hubbard: Messiah Or Madman, you should. It was written in collaboration with one of his sons and lays bare some of the worst abuses of Scientology, and he was doing it decades before Anonymous made it popular.

TUSK!

Don’t worry - if the anime adaptation of Steel Ball Run gets Tusk as its ending song (as it should), Fleetwod Mac’s reputation among the youths of today is going to be redeemed tenfold.

Holy shit, your post history reads like a one-man Boomer Facebook group! Minion memes, laugh-cry emojis, racism, transphobia, and Antifa whataboutism—you’ve got it all!
Hey, why do Boomers capitalize random words and add ellipses everywhere?  I’ve always been curious about that.

Rom literally quoting Marx comes to mind.

Stewart has also been quite vocal about defending the fandom, even in interviews where people try to brush off all Trek fans as maladjusted nerds.

Elden Ring? Not saying it should be like Elden Ring, but that’s pretty much the open world antithesis to the Ubisoft model. It took 200 hours for my first playthrough and not a “?” in sight (you know except the entire game as a whole lol).

Elden Ring would like a word.

Fool’s Theory is not a new company. They’ve been out there for 7 years now, have a game called Seven: Days Long Gone under their belts, they were making additional content for Divinity: Original Sin 2 alongside Anshar Studios and they have an upcoming original IP under the working title Project Vitriol.

God, Will Smith is just compulsively a phoney baloney.

The size of this deal is at least an order of magnitude bigger than almost every deal in the industry in the last decade. It would get similar scrutiny regardless.
