It's not a hip opinion at this point, but I still think that Micheal Keaton was by far the best Beetlejuice

Hmm, less He-Man talk than promised

I need it for bailing hay

I'm glad!

Your comment implies that Ghostbusters, once understood as 'ok' has been elevated to the status of "classic" because of 'this whole internet campaign' … but whatever, I'm not sure what you were asserting if that's not it.

This article fell into a flaming garbage lake and no one noticed

'Merkin' blood would be far more disturbing

Well, there's no porn now, so I think your plan will work pretty well.

My understanding is: taking and testing blood is expensive and time consuming; they prohibit anyone from donating that is 'high risk' because they don't want to waste time and money on blood that will turn out to be unusable in the end. It's essentially an efficiency thing.

Totally agree; just think it's more of a cultural rather than ethnic/religious distinction

Doesn't the star rating use some byzantine algorithm predicting your enjoyment based on your preferences for other shows, as well as other people's ratings of the show/shows you've rated? I might be making that up, but that's how I always thought it worked for some reason

Maria's body language and gesturing in the Mexico segment as the 'Cool' boss that's 'just one of the guys' while also being super condescending is so well done. It's obviously well researched behaviour

I'm gonna have to check out Revised

Seven Samurai wasn't subtle either, and it's still one of the most entertaining movies of all time sixty years later.

I find that people that assume someone is always the 'butt' of every joke tend not to enjoy Nathan for You, because it's unclear who he's 'getting' or why they deserve it.

I fully embrace this gradual move towards full-on surreality and insanity

The AVclub 'classic' posters have been drifting away for years now.

Jesus, can we stop this useless bickering about bullshit and focus on what really matters here?

Well if the role is for someone in a call center in india; an indian accent is probably important right? Or is it just a US based call center with an indian american character, in which case insisting on the accent is somewhat vulgar?

Why the fuck is there some bizarre caption in place of the title of the godamned show for new reviews? The fuck AV club?
