I'm guessing the realtime planning phase is like the planning phase in 'Space Alert' where the 'planning' is in fact the entirety of the gameplay. Basically the game is coming up with the plan, and the rest is just running through the mechanics to see if the plan actually worked.

Hoping the title was a euphemism.

I don't really object to romance in these type games, but I do think it's kind of a waste of resources. I would much rather have more dialogue options in a wider variety of interesting quests with branching goals, than the chance to robotically romance an array of wax-headed homunculi with dark pasts.
