Don’t we all separate the two on a daily basis? Or do you read up on the assistant directors before you go to a movie?

I am acknowledging the reality that companies exert far more control and influence over our lives than they ever have and certainly did when the Constitution was written, Facebook’s ability to shape public opinion is unprecedented in a way nobody could have imagined even 20 years ago, let alone 200. And they have

I don’t think I’m wrong. I don’t care about TOS. This is bigger than that shit that tries to exert control over us. Look at the NYT link. Like I said at least one SCOTUS Justice is thinking about this.

Obviously, I disagree, once a company gets to a certain level. I am not ok with Twitter setting the terms of what is and isn’t acceptable.

Sounds like shitty level design.

But in what way do you think they were close to white supremacy? The game has nothing in it. This guy said all his stuff after the lines were recorded. I think many people reading this are finding out for the first time that he was in the game. My point - which you seem to disagree with - is that there is utterly no

If grenades are unlimited, why even have grenades? Just take them out.

As I said up the thread Playtronic can do whatever they want. However it seems they were “getting into trouble” because of this which is nuts (as they basically apologized for it). I said it up the thread, I don’t believe in this whole “you can say whatever you want, but if I ruin your life because you said something

Where is the column that compares MLS players to Teen Wolf characters?

Those players really need a union.

Again, did he slip these views into the game or something? There is absolutely no connection between hiring a guy to read a few lines and him saying a bunch of stuff on video a few months later. None whatsoever. Playtronic has nothing to do with it and having him voice a few things implies nothing about Playtronic’s

Except it’s not really like that, because as far as I know, JonTron wasn’t striking up conversations on these topics while recording lines.

It’s not about speed, though, it’s just about the movement. You’re taking yourself out of the game in a way you don’t by hitting start.

I don’t know. I don’t like looking down. And the problem is that unique hardware introduced all sorts of things Nintendo couldn’t figure out. It was expensive, only one could be used with the system, etc.

I am advocating a free marketplace of ideas. Many of those ideas are distasteful. The way to defeat them is with more ideas, not implicit bans. Bans never work.

Yes, they are within their rights, they can associate with whomever they choose. My point is that this guy reading a few lines in the game does nothing to expose this fun for all ages platformer from “racist, xenophobic viewpoints.” I honestly didn’t even know the guy was in the game. I could have bought it and played

Evidently you didn’t read what I said.

Wii U is a system with a lot of problems, and even Nintendo didn’t seem to know what to do with it. It also took way too long for Nintendo to get their “staples” on it, and some they just never did (Metroid, for example).

Developer can do waht he wants. Some people simply feel that people should not be punished for their beliefs in this manner.

I am sorry, but did JonTron find a way to sneak in a few passages of Mein Kampf into the game or something? As far as I know he read the lines he was given and maybe improvised a little.
