And yet:
And yet:
The key difference here is Capcom has refined MH over the years and created the ultimate version of it, as a game to be played by new and old players for possibly years to come. Destiny is a platform to sell microtransactions and expansion passes to make as much money as humanly possible in the shortest amount of time.
Not by my standards, Ark. Not by the vast majority of Americans’ standards, if the repeated polls are to be believed. Super-capitalists (Republicans) have controlled the narrative in this country for far too long, which led to them controlling the State Houses and then gerrymandering all of the Congressional…
Fellow physician here (EM). I agree with the crux of your post, but I should point out that patients should not be allowed to dictate care, whether here in the US, or in a country w/ single-payer. If you come to me with a viral illness, you’re not getting abx. Same goes with an emergent MR. If I believe you have cauda…
I haven’t been to a doctor in a decade. I have insurance, but just the deductible is enough to wipe out every dime I’ve managed to scrape and save in the last few years, and it doesn’t cover anything until the deductible is paid. And it’s all moot anyway, because if I miss more than a day or two of work, the job and…
Really? How am I supposed to play the game now that it’s ruined? SON OF A FMDNSIANFANSFI
They definitely blow Andromeda out of the water.
I agree with everything in the article, but I still place this game as my new GOAT. Why? Because a team of 25 showed more ambition and put together a game that, really if it had the staff of each or bioware, would blow anything out of the water.
ambitious RPGs with good world-building
Longtime WoW player here — from alpha to 2012, then from 2016 - 2017. Blizzard never, ever, locks you out of content that existed when you last played the game, whether you go for an expansion or not. In fact, you often *gain* access to some advantages, indirectly. A few examples:
Yes but WoW hasn’t really gone and removed previous content availability and locked it behind a paywall as far as I’m aware??
Yeah, it raises an interesting question, and I’m sure this will keep coming up with more and more “service” games in the future. But if you bought vanilla Destiny 2 on PC (which came out in late October), you had less than a month and a half with this stuff before it locked you out. That’s kinda nuts.

Dude’s got pipes.
dude, chill. Go play Destiny instead of trying to defend it to everyone. Bungie got ya, its ok.
Just makes you wonder what other things they’ve implemented and aren’t telling the players.
This is one of those things that if they had just been up front about (“Hey guys, as you repeat low tier activities and earn more bright engrams, the XP required will rise, doing high tier events bypasses that, or just taking a break returns the normal scale”) people probably wouldn’t bitch beyond the normal (and…
Yeah. Writers are ruining the franchise...by reporting on EA’s decisions.
This is why some countries have already added “free and unhindered internet” to their national bill of rights. Seemed a bit silly then, but now...
This is flat out theft from citizens of the United States. We have subsidized telecom since it started in the 1800's and these robber barons owe us unhindered service.
