I read those books several times as a kid.  You’re right about the science and story.  Unfortunately, like a lot of literature from that long ago it reflects that time’s attitudes on race and women’s abilities and rights. I’d love to see a remake of the movie with modern special effects.

The Phantom movie was awesome! I’d have loved to have seen a sequel.  Along with a sequel to The Rocketeer.

I agree.  I saw Ad Astra and Downton Abbey on the same night.  I enjoyed Downton much more than I did Ad Astra.  Almost walked out on it.

Sometimes, I’ve sat through so many trailers, I forget what movie I’ve come to see.

I want those suckers to buy the normal Corvettes and then trade them in a couple of years for the GS or Z06.  Then I can swoop in and pick one at a hopefully depreciated price.  (Not likely, but I can dream.)

The storyline mentioned in the article is great, no argument there, but I’m hoping the movie is based on this classic story.
