They weld a little step that is about six inches wide and a couple feet long right to the fuselage of the little Cessna (or whatever aircraft). You shimmy out while holding on to the strut and then flap like a windsock in the breeze before you let go and hit your hard arch. Barely get time to arch before your chute is…
Lol. It really is the only way to go about it, isn’t it? My hat’s of to you, good sir.
Kick ass. I’ve only ever done civilian jumps out of small, single engine aircraft.
John McCain is a very controversial issue with many vets. Because on one hand he was a POW, but on the other, his family influence is what enabled him to be freed, when many of his fellow POW’s were not. So it is extremely controversial to discuss due to the nature of wanting to bring all of our brothers and sisters…
He’s headed to prison. He’ll get plenty of help unclenching his butt.
The lady in the car killed a pair of drawers.
My brake lights were totally on when I hit that tree so hard that my engine shut off and came back on. I however did not slow down one bit once I hit the curb. This guy’s brakes look like they totally worked in the air and the added weight of what was in his pants had to help with drag.
So he made a choice not to serve, so be it. I never gave any president crap for not serving, it is a personal choice in these cases. So here you go grouping absolutely everybody together based upon their voting preference, kind of like grouping people together for other things. Not everybody is the same. As far as…
Well first, we do not have a draft and I was not alive at the time of the draft. Second, I served my time, US Army, did you?
So he showed up to the draft office and was medically deferred. How is that using his money again? And as I said, college deferments were very normal, and still on the books today. So try some facts to back up what you say instead of just hurling insults.
False, parachutes are reused for many years.
4 “deferments” were due to him being in school. Which is actually a very standard thing. The last one, the draft boarded determined he was ineligible due to the bone spur being a medical reason. As in he did not choose, he went to MEPS as he should have and was given a medical deferment. Could he have gotten it…
How many minutes do you think you spend in the air on a static line jump? (It’s less than two. Less than one in many cases.)
That’s why we get that awesome ‘jump’ pay. A whopping $150/month!
HahahahahahaHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Emily Diskinson is trash. She wrote vapid verses about a guy she saw once and died because she refused to leave her room. That’s what an actual professor told me, by the way, not just my opinion.
Agreed. I really don’t see why/how the football program there didn’t get dismantled forever. I mean, you’ve just lost the privilege of having that program when your coaching staff, administrators, et al., are complicit in either child abuse or actively covering up child abuse. That’s it. And the physical facilities…
... you are are an overly sensitive Nancy. And chock full of hyperbole and slippery slope overreaction as well
....so you don’t have any military experience? You didn’t answer his question.
The written test is one thing. I’m more concerned with physical ability at that age. There should be a requirement for medical records proving sufficient eyesight and reflexes.
