I thought it should have been Jonathan. The twin bond should have been what they counted on to get through to him. We’ve certainly seen more of their bond this season than either boy’s bond with Lois.

I get the impression that MacFarlane wanted to do a more straightforward take on TNG but Fox wouldn’t greenlight unless he tossed on a coat of Family Guy paint. Lower Decks does a much better job balancing humor and drama, and The Orville gets downright cringey when it tackles MacFarlane’s pet topics—*cough* religion…
I can understand Holdo not telling Poe, but it’s preposterous that he wouldn’t have been able to find out what was going on. He wasn’t barred from the flight deck or bridge, and the plans for evacuation were in clear view on bridge monitors. It makes her not telling Poe seem petty because we subconsciously understand…
Suddenly Leia being able to survive for like a minute out in space and force push herself to an airlock isn’t that rediculous.
There’s more of the email in the filing:
However, Tribes of Midgard, unlike so many recent roguelike hits, doesn’t offer any real meta-progression or permanent unlocks or upgrades for all your hard work.
A rounding error away from zero. The unfortunate truth about this situation is that...well, it’s hard to find a way to say it that isn’t dismissive. Nobody cares. We probably shouldn’t be surprised by that - it would be exceptional for the average individual to actively seek out information that would make enjoying…
Mass Effects biggest issue was giving players the illusion of meaningful choices. Consequences to those decisions became expected, and they obviously were too many or too varied for Bioware to be able to tie together at the end. So then you get to the end where literally nothing you choose in the entire trilogy…
I mean, dude literally harrassed her boss to get her fired and called the cops on her when she took the car because her autonomy feels threatening. The entire previous episode establishes how controlling he is over the little stuff.
They depicted what they wanted 5 years ago, the art was already done, and people already paid for it. If you bought a painting, would you be cool with the original painter coming over whenever he or she wants and scrubbing off something they don’t like any more? lol
The people who already bought the game, and have had it changed because of snowflakes can’t “take their money elsewhere”. So unless Steam begins to refund people for a game they bought four years ago, you are the one who should shut up.
It pains me to seemingly end up on the side of the meatheads (I don’t like it, either), but self harm is removed, but you can slicey-dicey-shoot other folks in the head and that’s not a problem? Like, that’s where the line is?
Personally I prefer the artstyle of Genshin over Horizon. Horizon has a certain uncanniness I couldn’t really ever get over. Wonder how this design will be received overall.
I feel like I shouldn’t have to devote weeks of playtime to a game to “Get to the good parts” y’know?
They’re basically the Vatican of video games. If people keep giving them money and supporting them, they’re not going to change, not really. STOP GIVING THEM MONEY. If you want to play their games, pirate that shit. Yeah, I said it. Fight me.*
Honestly you can pretty much always tell when your reading a BS user review as people tend to be very up front and obnoxious about it.
As far as I know, the ur-text on hooking up with your own time variants is David Gerrold’s The Man Who Folded Himself, which I recommend, at least based on my reading when I was 15 so...
Yeah that definitely threw me and made me think something got cut somewhere. It was obvious they were giving out Kryptonian powers (though it originally seemed like only one power per person) but at no point did it seem like they were getting a Kryptonian ‘upload’.
Puts on No Man’s Sky. Wanders in space. Lands on planet. Walks around shooting things. Gets bored. Leaves planet. Goes to one of those space stations that all look the same. Gets bored and turn off the game. Can’t wait!
I mean... they can have games that feature political turmoil from the characters and setting, without trying to make some sort of grand political statement about the real world.
But I guess that kind of nuance is a bit difficult for some of the contributors around here, who would rather just post reactionary news…
