Yeah, the “more interesting” take would fly in the face of Greek mythology.

Fascists are excellent finger-pointers. It’s very true to life that Caesar would be fantastic at pointing out every single thing wrong with the NCR, and getting a fair amount of it right. Lies are acceptable, but during the transitional/combat stage, truth is far more damaging to the opposition.
Science fiction is one of the few places where you can make a compelling argument for meaningful pansexuality. You could posit that bisexuality remains limited to the native species (one which happens to more-or-less offer up the dimorphism to make bisexuality sensible) while pansexuality is all-in on dem…
And to think, it’s still a step up from DA:O, where if you said all the wrong things you still could fix it then fuck it with spammed bribery.
Het Jack was a pretty good twist, and, for Femshep playthroughs at least, it hit two interesting buttons: first, it stood for the proposition that people can experiment for awhile before ultimately figuring out what their preferences really are, and second, it let Jack viscerally reclaim agency over her sexuality…
They should do it for the player’s character too. We don’t have many years left. Let’s get perverse with it.
I can clarify if you want. Political parties are inevitable unless opposed by an outside force.
Political parties are only necessary in the sense that they’re inevitable, not that government couldn’t function without them. Indeed, the founders’ disapproval of them - being an evaluation of their likelihood to cause major problems rather than the likelihood of their emergence and persistence - seems pretty spot on.
Meh, tell it to the founding fathers, who were so leery of a standing army’s definitional and inherent threats to liberty (both due to all the guns and due to their structures’ anti-democratic and anti-Enlightenment elements) that they didn’t even want their national government to have one.
Condoms and BC used together virtually eliminate the risk of pregnancy, so there’s really no need to disclose or discuss as long as you know that you’re responsible and you’ve taken care of it.
I’m sure somebody with more artistic talent has already done an “Ubisoft plus treasured old game” mashup where they Ubi-fy a classic like the original LoZ.
Go back in time to when the original LoZ released, before it had been played and plotted and Nintendo-Power’d to death. I think you might have a hard time reducing it like so - and I’d suggest that my provisos are fair, because the Ubisoft-model open world games are all about shoving “stuff to do” in your face. Even…
Listen, Zack Snyder’s a lovely guy, really. He’s lovely. He has great working relationships with the suits and the talent. Can’t say enough good things about him.
>Could do with less of that speechifying though, there are better ways to do that then “LET’S BRING THIS UP!!!!
I’m glad he does these articles, but man, this one was practically writing itself out in public, one delay and cut feature at a time.
There are an infinite number of dividing lines in Star Wars fandom (which is largely comprised of ex-fans!) but “The Yoda fight was awesome” versus “The Yoda fight was both stupid and a huge missed opportunity in several different ways” is an important one. I stand by that.
The movies aren’t all out yet, so we can’t say for sure.
I guess, but honestly, the origin story for both of them in the MCU is... not illustrative of MCU’s best work. Indeed, as far as Wanda goes, I think the writers would strongly prefer people not get into the details, because they’re so obviously trying to transition Wanda’s powers more towards her super-cool mutant…
I found the first season to be pretty generic, but I immediately pegged the lead actress as struggling with a put-on American accent. Five seconds of internet research later and my suspicion was confirmed.
I kinda dropped Hitman when it became clear that the most superifically-interesting and elegant ways to clear levels were always heavily, heavily scripted, because the developers obviously couldn’t fulfill the promise of a true sandbox. In lieu of forcing the player to do an obligatory exploratory run of a level every…
