More like complaining about the electricity bills, but point well taken. I can see the market for this truck leveling out as the price is too steep for most people, although I expect some financing hi-jinx to occur to get people into this truck. I would still get a Raptor over this, but this is no-doubt a beast. (that

I guess you’re right. On my MDX, when you turn on the cruise, the radar cruise is the default option. You have to press an additional button (or two) to disable the radar and lane keep options. Never have done it.

Ram Big Horn 2: 2 Big 2 Horn

Not crazy about the exterior looks, but interior and tech are impressive. I think the most comparable competition to this is the Mercedes G-class SUV. Both has squared-off and distinctive styling. Both are very exclusive because of the price. Both has absurd levels of power and off-roading capability that will never

Life’s short. Trade in your Crosstrek, take out another loan and get the 4Runner. You’ll eventually die, so might as well go to the grave in a vehicle you like.

The only time women has shown interest in my vehicle was when I had a pickup. Having a vehicle that can help move their apartment or large furniture is a huge turn-on.

I would buy from a dealer if they simply lists the car’s features and options in a coherent manner and consistent with the manufacturer’s naming convention. I’ve only seen the features listed in a single paragraph, with power windows listed next to drivetrain layout, followed by the all-important CD/MP3 player.

I would try to grab some the remaining Alltracks left on the dealer lots. They will be heavily discounted compared to this all new model, although I have to admit that this is a very good looking CUV.

As a former GTI owner, I would have to give a hard no. The car to too fast in the hands of a 16 year old, and is on wrong side of the reliability curve. The answer lies in the quadrillions of available, safe, and reliable CUVs with the RAV4 and CRV at the top of the list.

The whole “soccer mom” thing is so cliche and stupid. Just as much oakley-wearing men and bearded bros drive SUVs as women, and none of them take it off-road.

Simple design answer: draw a line connecting the centers of the front and rear wheels. Here are the answers:

CR-V and Elements are good choices, but you get better value by going with an American brand. 2012 was the last year for a good-looking Escape. Get this version for about $7k.

Crack pipe.

This is a bit disingenuous. A boat with an inboard motor that weighs 5000lbs is not a “small” boat. Also, I’ve never seen these boats being towed by anything other than full-sized pickup (or up). You wouldn’t tow this boat with your Taco or Ranger either. This puppy weighs about 3500lbs and would be perfect for a day

Big fan of TJ Maxx too. As I’m a little older, and have a bit more money, I find that certain things are worth paying a bit more for quality: hiking boots, luggage, yard equipment, and car tires. $200 - $400 is the sweet spot for getting high quality luggage, but not overpaying for a name brand.

If all automotive purchases are about practicality and utility, 90% of all current vehicles wouldn’t exist. This is a vanity vehicle, the same as a $5k piece of Hermes luggage that isn’t functionally better than a $250 Samsonite.

That makes sense, a brand-new $19k car with warranty can be a good deal. The off-road version is a joke given the 100% of these vehicles will not do any off-roading.

My next car will be my first used (or CPO) vehicle. Looking at an Audi A5, A6, or BMW 4 GC. Used German sedans make me nervous, so looking for a good deal and maybe an extended warranty.

I generally buy vehicles new, but this vehicle seems to make the case for buying a nice, slightly used vehicle for $25k is better than a brand new this. Looks nice on the outside, but seem like a very cheaply made vehicle. For a little bit more, a RAV4 or CRV is much nicer.
