Hm, really? I don't even love The Simpsons (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles series or Gaiapolis for me), but X-Men is the definition of a quarter eater. Imprecise controls, dumb boss patterns, boring level design.

While Konami's arcade game is stupid fun, it really is worse than The Simpsons or Gaiapolis. Mutant Apocalypse and the Legends games are deeper, better designed, more fun to play, "get" the X-Men more, and so on.

As deeply as I adore Scalia to the point where I would call him "a force for good" and a necessary representative of regular people in the same way that Sotomayor is (I would, um, hesitate to call Thomas "a force for good," despite his genuinely amazing life story), it really was stolen.

I get that conservatives thought we were going to get wiped out at the national level, hence the obstruction, but now that we won most things, it looks even worse.

Speaking as a music nerd, big and cool are 2 very different things. I went to 3 shows, 2 of which were comedy, in Milwaukee last year and probably between 10 and 15 each to Madison and Chicago.
