This is exceedingly well-put. I think that worldview subverts real justice, but that's a personal opinion and the opposite view is legitimate and humanist.

My military friends may disagree with the public angle to this, but maybe there's an additional rub to the college version that this documentary doesn't go into too much. Most people want to be on the public "right side of an issue," but they also want to balance the risk of publicly declaring, then being on the…
Kenan seems nice, but the sad undercurrent to that joke is that Saturday Night Live, while certainly better than his All That and Kenan And Kel work, is also far less memorable. Sorry, Kenan!
Can someone not think it's calculated but also hate it? This isn't like a situation where someone is funny but constantly says, "I'm, uh, I'm PRETTY funny!" and almost ruins it for you. That's a skill, at least, that they're overrating. This is inane stuff, like, "I eat chips but am also attractive!", "I am less…
If I recall, there was a backlash (even represented here by Amelie Gillette writing, "UGH," every time he did a thing), and then he took a few years away from the spotlight before his latest albums. That 1. refreshed public perception 2. refocused people on his music. I say no sexism.
I don't see how your quotation and response tie to each other. In any case, maybe don't make a comments section for a sketch show your hill on which to die?
I am pretty sure I am The A.V. Club's number 1 S.N.K. fan, so that's why 1. I cannot deal with the thought of it being underrated 2. I disagree that 800 dollars to pay Metal Slug 3, at least, wouldn't be worth it.
What I like about it is that where something similar bro-like like The League will make the obvious joke or commit too hard to a nothing bit, Those Who Can't does something different.
She has 1 good song, and it's not technically her song, but the wonderful Cashmere Cat's. That said, my standard for what makes a good pop artist is, "Could anyone do what _ did on this good song?" If so, it doesn't count. In this case, she really does make the song better with her "only sing vowels" style.
Yeah, she just seems really dumb and has demonstrable bad taste. If those are her worst qualities, we'll all live. Cs all around!
GKids will save it. No worries. It'll just hurt its American bottom line.
That was the only time West has ever been intentionally funny.
The P.C. Engine is right up there with the Gamecube, Playstation Portable, and Dreamcast as "most underrated game device." Hudson Soft brought it in the old arcade genres and weirdness such that it really is pre-Dreamcast Dreamcast.
They have hosted some great female animators, but there just aren't as many as men. There just aren't. I'm looking forward to some college student's thesis project getting national funding at this point.
Counterpoint: Motoi Sakuraba's soundtracks to the Golden Sun games refresh you just as you're grinding the same Djinn over and over again and Camelot knows how to make bread-and-butter gaming excellent. I was so mad that the story never went anywhere (and the 3rd game was equally good), but I hope that after the 1st 2…
Whoa, let's not go crazy, which you must be if you played that much of V. The amount of weapon types and player styles made it more of a Tekken and less of a Virtua Fighter, but it was still masterful (and overall better than I and Blade, I feel).
Arc Rise Fantasia! I like Samantha's choice, because we could really say "most localized Playstation 1 role-playing games," and what did Imageepoch do if not even more derivative versions of those?
Is Road Rash or Road Rash 64 a bad game? Twisted Metal Black? In any case, it's hard to have more fun during a late night friends gaming session.
These are all wonderful choices, but any mention of Odama now just makes me sad. Someone at NeoGAF translated Saito's blog post of Iwata's death, and I think it's even more moving than Itoi's. Even Saito knows he blew it. http://www.neogaf.com/forum…
I see that and definitely agree that American errs on the side of "whatever." But it's not like your softball suggestion is how Republicans get that question. They get pressed on it. They can't just say, like Rubio did, "I understand, but I support life. Life is always a gift. *single tear down cheek*" He got smoked…
